Rules and info

1. Flag football helmets and mouth guards are mandatory.  
2. Team jerseys are not provided by the Gridiron Showcase. Please provide your own.
3. 5v5 plus one QB. QB can’t run or catch.
4. Two 25 minute running half’s. 
5. Coin toss for ball. Alternating team gets  ball second half.
6. 5 second steamboat count for sacks.
7. One hand touch. Ball has to be side snapped from ground to QB from TE.
8. All penalties can be assessed by referee.
9. No pushing or extending for blocks. Just screening or getting in the way.
10. 4th down can be “punted” to other teams 10yd line.
11. No coach allowed on field during defensive possessions. Coach allowed on field during offense.
12. Defensive player has to line up 5 yds from line of scrimmage if guarding the RB or TE. Unless within 5 yds of end zone.
13. 2 TO’s, per game, per team.
14. Extra Pts: 7yd=2pts, 3yd=1pt.
15. Ties count as 1 pt. Wins 2 pts. Loss is zero pts. Pt differential determines round robin seeding tie breakers.
16. Fumbles are whistled dead.

Division 1 – 17 and 18 year olds

Division 2 – 15 and 16 year olds

Division 3 – 13 and 14 year olds

Division 4 – 11 and 12 year olds

Division 5 – 9 and 10 year olds
